Homecoming sunday

Inner-city ministries see a larger than normal turnover in their congregations.  Over the past several decades, Hamilton Square has touched thousands of lives in a profound, life-changing way.  Many have moved and are now living in other places across the country and around the world.

We have set aside the third Sunday in October to provide an opportunity for former members and friends to return and renew fellowship with the congregation. It is a day of celebration and fellowship with a special morning service followed by a full-course dinner.  Inspirational themes and decorations for his event are always memorable. A special program following the dinner gives a time of re-acquaintance for former members and a time of wonderful fellowship for all. 

Homecoming Sunday has become the “biggest” day on our church calendar, one to which we all look forward during the year.

annual meeting

Most church business meetings are a time to be avoided.  At Hamilton Square the Annual Meeting is a very special day of rejoicing and recounting the blessings of the previous year.  Following a delightful dinner, the congregation enjoys a time of fellowship and presentations by various ministries of the church.  Each year, reports from many of the ministry leaders are published along with the financial reports. Special music, testimonials and other presentations grace the afternoon’s program. 

The Annual Meeting at Hamilton Square is a time of blessing and refreshing to all who participate.  It is a great joy to recount the blessings and victories experienced by all in their service for the Lord.

All-Church fourth of july picnic

The HSBC family annually celebrates our country's independence day with an all-out BBQ picnic in sunny Orange Memorial Park in South San Francisco. The picnic area sits under a large shelter offering shade and comfort while eating and for those who afterward enjoy fellowshipping out from the hot sun. The day includes a wonderful array of food, singing, a word of inspirational encouragement, softball, and a special time of races and games for the younger children. We ask that everyone who wants to participate to register for this event.
