Dan Pelletier
Senior Pastor
After 7 years of dating his high school sweetheart, Pastor Dan Pelletier married Chris (Weidert) Pelletier. They have now been married for almost 40 years. Their ministry adventures have taken them from farming communities in Illinois to North Carolina, Guam, Micronesia, Wisconsin, Missouri, Indiana, New Hampshire, and California. They have partnered together in youth ministry, music ministry, Christian camping, and pastoral work.
Chris is a skilled administrative assistant, and Dan’s partner in every sense of the word. She co-leads the Women's Ministry and manages the church's hospitality committee which endeavors to help guests feel at home in the church.
The Pelletiers began serving in California in 2004 and have served for ten years at Hamilton Square. In February 2022, Pastor Dan was voted in as senior pastor. Dan and Chris' love for the Word of God and the ministry in San Francisco make them the perfect tools for God's work in this great city.
The Pelletiers have one daughter who is married and has blessed them with a handsome grandson.
Brian Kelly
Associate Pastor
Pastor Brian Kelly began as Assistant Pastor in July 1998 and became Associate Pastor in 2004. He received his B.S. in Communications and M.S.Ed. in Family Counseling from Old Dominion University. He earned his Doctor of Religious Education degree from Tabernacle Baptist Seminary.
He faithfully serves as the church bookkeeper and network administrator. He directs the counseling ministries, couples fellowship, and teaches the Berean Bible study class on Sunday mornings. Pastor Kelly also leads the church choir and coordinates the song leaders for church worship services. He is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Classical Voice and Opera at San Francisco State University. He is a voice student of Jeannette Sacco-Belli, Raymond Gibbs, Nicholas Nackley and Christine Brandes.
His wife Deborah is a Senior Litigation Paralegal at a law firm in the Financial District. She serves in the choir and assists with programs and musical groups. She serves in many other places in various church ministries including coordinating our weekly Lunch and Mingle Fellowship.
When not busy with church or school, Brian enjoys traveling to tropical islands, exploring European cities, playing the piano and guitar, attending the S.F. Symphony and Opera, and listening to clean comedy.
David C. Innes
Pastor emeritus
Dr. David C. Innes served the congregation of the Hamilton Square Baptist Church as its senior pastor from 1977 to 2022. After forty five years as Senior Pastor, Pastor Innes stepped down to the position of Pastor Emeritus. He is thrilled to be working under the leadership of Pastor Pelletier and continue to minster at Hamilton Square.
He was educated at Bob Jones University, receiving his B.A. in 1961, and later his Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.), and honorary Doctor of Divinity (D.D.) and Doctor of Laws (L.L.D.) degrees.
Pastor Innes' new ministry will be to assist Pastor Pelletier in whatever capacity possible as well as to travel and encourage the pastors of California to stand firm on the Word of God. His in-depth study of Fundamentalism is a great asset to other pastors as well as His rich knowledge and practical application of the Scriptures.
He serves on the board of Foundations Baptist Fellowship International and the advisory board of International Baptist Missions.
He has four children, four grandsons, four granddaughters and three great-grand children.
Karen Maalona
Administrative Assistant
Karen started attending Hamilton Square Baptist Church in 1993. She met her husband, Donald at HSBC and they have one son. She and her husband have faithfully serve in many facets of the ministry. Apart from her responsibilities in the church office, Karen is a member of the choir, co-leads the Women's Ministry, heads up the Food and Decorating Committee and is the church Wedding Coordinator. In her spare time, Karen loves to bake, plan events, do crafts and shop!
Karen became the administrative assistant in February of 2021.
ROBERTO ELEP
Property Manager
Roberto “Bobby” Elep has served us in an outstanding way as property manager of Hamilton Square since 2011. He successfully keeps our premises and building spotless and orderly, inside and out. He also oversees the maintenance, repairs and painting of church facilities and property.
Bobby sets up for church events, serves as an usher for worship services and keeps the “waste management” in order - which in San Francisco is no small task.
Bobby is married to his dear wife Susana who works in food services for San Francisco State University. Bobby and Susana have four lovely daughters. They proudly enjoy two grandchildren.
